An Archived National Park Service Photo Of Large Hemlock Trees At SNP

Visitors admiring large Hemlock Trees, most of which were destroyed by the hemlock woolly adelgid, first dicovered in the park in 1986. Smaller remaining hemlocks are currently receiving treatment in hopes of saving them.
